ADVISORY BOARD

This is the team of Permanent Representatives (Ambassadors) of United Nations Member States. 

This is a voluntary role. However, all initiatives and activities are duly updated. 

 

They also serve as Chief Advisor to the Committee on SDGs. They help with developing and implementing the CAPs pertaining to their Committee. 

They guide us in developing the CAPs and ensure that our works fall in line with the UN 2030 Agenda.

H.E.Collen V.Kelapile has been a staunch supporter of youth and youth initiatives. He was not only an inspiration but considered a founding member of the World Youth Group.

EX-OFFICIO

The Board will have the discretion to co-opt a limited number of ex-officio Members that shall not exceed (5) and also based on geographic and gender balance, including from senior representatives from the relevant entities of the UN system in accordance with their established procedures for engaging in outside or external activities.

The ex-officio members are entitled to provide their input to any recommendation of the WYG Advisory Board, both during the meetings or through the Chair of the CC-WYG, and their input will be taken into account as relevant by the full-time Board members.

Hon. Min. Ms. Emma is leading a global campaign to have an International Sports Week, a parameter of the global policy on #IAmWithYouCampaign, designed by the World Youth Group. 

She has been championing investing in sports for good health and well-being. Supporting the UN SDG-3; Good Health and Well-being.
